Do you find yourself living a busy life in a busier city, like Los Angeles? If you do, then you don’t have so much time to eat. Here is one of the best food deliveries in town!

Nowadays, we face a busy life where fast food has taken up the first place when talking about the most eaten food. Why? Well, the answer is simple – as the name shows us, it is fast, and spread all over the world. But how healthy is it? According to most of the professional nutritionists and psychologists, the food we eat is the one to characterize us. In this case, we may say that the fast food matches the superficial ones, who don’t pay attention to details. Unfortunately for us, it is not as important and dangerous as the ingredients of that food.

Still, some of us have thought of better ways to eat and keep the fast production, and so the Brunch Butler has become the first brunch delivery in Los Angeles. So, if you work in a busy field where time is everything, then surely the company mentioned above will help you to keep up with the pace and the hurry – and there’s no wonder why, especially due to the offers you can take advantage of; let’s not forget to mention the special healthy season meals, which will surely give you the energy needed for passing a tough day.

Actually, for breakfast delivery in Los Angeles the Brunch Butler is the best brunch delivery, as well as the best breakfast one. In addition, the healthy and appetizing food coming in a menu for two people is, as we say, the icing on the cake. But that’s not all! The brunch delivery service will be there in a minute with some of the best and the healthiest meals from all times.

The last but not the least way of persuading we got for you is the press. If you still got any questions, you can always contact the Brunch Butler or search it on Google – you will surely be amazed by what you will find, as being the most luxurious food company from all over Los Angeles. Just take a peak into the fabulous world of the sense of esthetic combined with the marvelous taste of a good, healthy food. We got only two words left for you – Bonne appetite!

After school snacks are important for the heath of your child. Unfortunately, children can get easily bored about the same snacks over and over again. The solution is being creative in offering them diversified snacks. It is advisable to make sure you use organic or all-natural ingredients.

Below you can find some great ideas for preparing delicious and healthy after school snacks.

Airy and Tasty Mousse
Toast almonds and coconut in the oven. In a food processor, mix ricotta cheese, cocoa powder, sugar substitute, almond and vanilla extract. When the mixture is airy, stir the almonds and coconut into it. Top with fat-free whipped cream and a little bit of cinnamon.
You can adapt the recipe and prepare other types of mousses too. The options are practically infinite, as there are a multitude of flavors and tastes.

The Frozen Surprise – Freeze Pops
Home-prepared freeze pops are simply delicious. Blend together orange juice, pureed bananas and low-fat plain yogurt. Place the mixture into small paper cups and put them in the freezer. Wait about two hours then insert a wooden stick in each cup. After four hours in the freezer, the juice pops are ready to be enjoyed!
Another option is to blend lime juice, seedless watermelon and a sugar substitute. Put a few blueberries into each freezer-pop mold, add the watermelon mixture and insert the sticks. Let them in the freezer for about six hours.

Yummy Vegetable Garden
Make a fake garden using a kind of vegetables, fruits and dips. Fill a mini muffin tin with, for example, baby carrots, apple and pear slices, peach pieces, tomatoes, radishes, olives, rhubarb, but also Greek yogurt based fruit dip or other healthy dips. Top the little garden with a piece of green tissue and leave a note saying “Dig in!”.

When you want to quickly cook something easy and tasty, chicken fried rice can be the solution. The recipe can be adjusted to your own preferences, as you can add your favorite ingredients and personalize it.

Ingredients:
2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1.5 pounds chicken breast ( with no bones and skin)
2 carrots (peeled)
1 cup pea pods or broccoli spears
3 scallions
2 cloves garlic
1-inch chunk fresh ginger root (peeled)
½ teaspoon chili powder
6 cups cooked rice
1 egg
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Chili sauce
Chopped cilantro (optional)
Lime wedges (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients for the marinade:
¼ cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
¼ cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon ginger root ( dried or fresh)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
¼ cup fresh-squeezed orange juice

Instructions:
Step 1: Mix marinade in a bowl, then cut chicken into 1-inch chunks. Add chicken chunks into the marinade, cover the bowl and put it in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Step 2: Cut broccoli and carrots into bite-size pieces and put them in the bowl. If you use peas, you can let them whole in the pod. Grate the ginger, mince (or press) the garlic, then put them on a separate plate along with the chili powder.
Step 3: In a wok or skillet, heat one tablespoon oil at medium-high heat. Make sure the oil is hot, but not smoking, then add the chicken and ¼ cup of marinade. Cook until the chicken meat is no longer pink inside, then remove it from the pan and put it aside.
Step 4: After cleaning the pan, add another tablespoon oil, but decrease heat to medium. Add the scallions and other vegetables and cook them for two to four minutes, until they become a bit softened. Do not forget to stir continuously. Add garlic, chili powder and ginger, and stir constantly for about one minute. It is important the garlic to not get brown or burned.
Step 5: Add the rice and mix them together well. Push rice and vegetables to sides of the pan, so that there is a small well in the middle of the pan. Add in the middle one tablespoon of oil (if needed), then crack the egg right into the pan and start stirring firmly in order to mix the egg. Mix the egg into the vegetable and rice mixture. By stirring, cook the mixture for about three minutes until the egg is cooked.
Step 6: Add chicken, any juices and soy sauce.
Step 7: Garnish with lime wedges, chili sauce or cilantro. Serve immediately.

Sometimes you may find it difficult to plan and prepare a buffet dinner party. But if you follow some simple guidelines, everything will become easier. From choosing elegant and simple menus to setting up the table taking in account convenience and visual effect, you can become the perfect host if you know some useful tips.

Choose the Menu Theme
The unity of your dinner party is much influenced by the choice of an overall theme such as Chinese, Mediterranean, or Indian. When choosing themed salad, appetizers, main dish and desserts, make sure they come in contrasting colors in order to increase the visual impact.
Opt for a few theme-inspired finger foods, dips, premixed salads which can be served in small cups, and main dishes containing bite-sized vegetables and meats. Make sure you take into consideration your guests` dietary restrictions when you choose the desserts. It is always a good idea to put some trays with local fruits and vegetables.

Do the Set Up
On one hand it is recommended to place the main buffet table in the middle of the party room, so it can be accessible from both sides. On the main table you should put salads, appetizers and main dishes.

On the other hand, you should arrange the beverage table far away from the main buffet table. The reason for that is to make sure guests with plates of food do not collide with the ones with beverages. For the dessert you can use a small table, shelf or counter.

Place the foods from the main buffet table in groups. So you will have groups of main dishes, plates, finger food, sides and vegetables, appetizers and salads. At the end of the food display, provide napkins and rolled silverware.

So that you keep hot foods warm, place them in chafing dishes, while the cold foods should be positioned over dished filled with ice. To ensure the dishes are easy to access but also decorate the table, you can add height. Make sure the most attractive dishes are the only one which can be seen, as the sturdy objects should be hidden under fabric samples or tablecloths.
It is important to refill your serving dishes as frequent as possible, so guests do not feel any constraints.

Safety Considerations
Do not forget to wash your hands before, during and after you prepare the food. All items you use (pots, pans, dishes, utensils) must be clean, too.
Keep hot food in the oven until you serve it and cold food in the refrigerator. Throw away food that has been inside buffet table for more than 2 hours and outside buffet table for more than 1 hour.

Being the most important meal of the day, breakfast should be both healthy and nutritious, especially when it is about children. Instead of offering your kid a simple bowl of bran cereals, you should try some easy and healthy recipes which will make a delicious breakfast.

Whole Wheat Pancakes and Fruit

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 cup soy milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 cup whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
A pinch of salt

Preparation:
Puree the banana in a bowl and mix it with the milk and syrup. On a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt, then add the banana mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth enough. Heat up a griddle on your stove, then pour a small ladle`s worth of mixture onto the griddle. When you see bubbles on the surface of the pancake, flip it over and cook through.
Serve the whole wheat pancakes with fresh fruit such as blueberries, apple slices or strawberries. Provide also a glass of soy milk or orange juice. There is no doubt this breakfast will make a great day start for your kid.

Smiling Baked Oatmeal

Ingredients (for four serving):
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
½ cup dried mixed fruit
2 cups milk
1 egg
¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons syrup
A pinch of salt

Preparation:
Spray four custard baking cups with non-stick cooking spray and set them aside. Mix the dry ingredients (the oats and the fruit) in a large bowl. Mix the milk and the beaten egg in another bowl then add sugar, vanilla and salt. Combine the mixtures from the two bowls by stirring until they become equally mixed. Put the mixture into the custard cups and bake them for about half an hour in the oven heated at 350 degrees. Make a smiling face from pieces of dried fruit to decorate them. You can also drizzle with syrup.

It is very important for your child`s health to use organic or all-natural ingredients. Try to avoid foods that contain a lot of fat, sugar or salt.

Red Beans and Eggs (Huevos Rancheros)
Put a can of red beans in sauce in a skillet and heat it. Crack four eggs on top. Cover and simmer until the eggs white are cooked and the yolks are how you like them.
Stir Fry and Rice
Buy beef or chicken already cut into strips. You can also use bean curd (firm tofu). Cook by stirring them continuously in vegetable oil in a wok or skillet. Make sure the heat is medium high. When they are cooked, remove and set aside. Stir fry some vegetables such as green onion, sliced mushrooms, bell pepper strips, and snow pears. Add the cooked meat or bean curd to the vegetable pan and season with bottled stir fry sauce, soy sauce or whatever you like. Serve with cooked white rice.

One of the most popular is the Garden Lettuce. Almost every garden has this type of lettuce. It has curly and loose leaves which provide a great amount of vitamins A and K but are quite perishable so you’d have to prepare it as soon as you buy it.

Iceberg lettuce is a popular salad in US but not only (the name comes from the manner this type of lettuce was brought from US in 1920– in train wagons covered with ice). It has a thick appearance, almost no taste (the mildest flavor) and it’s appreciated for its crunchy texture. They are very tasty if prepared with a spicy dressing.

Romaine lettuce it the key ingredient for “Cesar salad” and is original from Italy. With long crispy leaves resemble cabbage and has a little bitter flavor. Apart from other green salads it has a good resistance as you can keep it very well up to 10 days.

Watercress has a similar taste with cottage cheese, small leaves of a deep green color and helps in combating the nicotine addiction, fights against cancer, helps digestion and has aphrodisiacs properties.
Salad chicory is very tasty (although it has a bitter but not disagreeable taste) and has curly edge. A good combination would be with gorgonzola and walnuts.

Boston lettuce – known also as “butter lettuce” because of his subtle butter taste has light textured leaves and is so tender that melts in your mouth. It’s popular mostly in Europe.
Arugula is original from Mediterranean Sea and is mostly associated with Italian food. It has a peppery taste and its leaves are rich in C Vitamin. It suits very well both in salads and cooked dishes (including pizzas).

Endive has white fleshy boat-shaped leaves, with a little bitter taste and is used especially in salads or combined with boiled vegetables.

Escarole has the same bitter taste as frisée but its leaves are broader and crispier. It often used in soups and bean dished.

Philippine cuisine is unique from other Asian ones, because of the diverse mix of cultures and heritage of this incredible country. Asian traditions meet Western influences and Polynesian flare in the harmonious mélange of flavors, smells and tastes of Filipino food.

The Philippines is one of those places in the world where the food is feast for the eyes and a pleasure for the tongue because of its delicious exotic dishes created especially to fully satisfy your appetite.

Alluring on the plate, Filipino foods and delicacies are strange, creative and original. It is amazing how eating one simple dish will make you describe your culinary experience as a mix of different tastes, in a bold combination of sweet, sour and salty flavors. Contrasting pairing is what makes each dish unique.

Filipinos developed an authentic art regarding food, because they see it as an extremely significant element of their everyday life. Therefore, the kitchen became their favorite place of the house, the place where culinary miracles happen.

The delicious exotic Filipino foods are treasured all over the world because of their extraordinary taste, even if they look rather unusual. For example, “bagoong” (shrimp paste) and “dinuguan (pork blood stew) may seem weird, but they taste magnificent. Trying them will surely make you ask for more.

Other traditional Filipino foods are pork ribs with bananas, bibingka (coconut rice dessert), kare-kare (Filipino stew with bull tail and vegetables cooked in peanut sauce), scampi with cononut, nilagang baka (beef soup bones), bulalo (Beef shank), and lechon baboy (roasted pig), and asado (braised meat in soy sauce and brown sugar liquid).

The “balut” is also a Filipino dish. It is an egg (duck or chicken) with an almost developed embryo inside it. This fertilized egg is boiled and eaten in shell. To season the “balut”, you can either use salt or vinegar with chili mixture. Even if it sounds and looks unattractive, it is surprisingly tasty. This dish is sold every night on Filipino streets, so it is not regarded as an unlikely to be eaten food.

The provinces of the country provide more and more exotic foods. This should not be a surprise, as Filipinos tend to cook and eat every living creature near them. Many Filipinos would make use of every part of an animal. As long it is comestible, it doesn`t matter how it looks. Regardless the fact that they are crunchy or slimy, Filipino delicacies are always tasty and healthy.
